- This is to let everyone know that we will not be as liable as we were in Mazecon. The regulations in the Summer Party shall be maintained strictly so everyone is requested to arrive to the event on time, which will benefit both us and you! :P
As always, a t-shirt will be provided, by yours truly MazeCity.

11.30 to 12.30
Live MazeArt Competition
- Behold! The most important part of the Summer Party, with the most number of rules and regulations! If you are a participant, be prepared to read this or face doom!

1. First and foremost, as mentioned earlier, the theme of the Live MazeArt Competition will be based upon the theme of the Summer Party itself, the works of Hayao Miyazaki. This essentially means that the drawings produced by the participants should consist only of characters from any of Hayao Miyazaki's many films. Examples of such films: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro etc. Do keep in mind that the THEME is BASED UPON Hayao Miyazaki’s works, and that this not the THEME itself. What is the theme, you ask? That shall be revealed 10 days before the actual event, so make sure you have plenty of practice!

2. The participants are strongly disallowed to resort to any sort of unfair means while the competition is taking place. Judges will be on constant lookout during the competition so if any of the participant is caught violating this rule, they will be immediately disqualified without any forgiveness.

3. The participants are requested to bring their own stationaries. As only sketches will be accepted in this competition, black pens, pencils and the sorts are must. Of course, if you want to use inks or a special sketching method using uncommon stationaries, that is allowed as well. In the end though, anything other than sketches are disqualified.

4. This is quite obvious, but the participants are requested not to do anything that will make the other participants lose their focus. We all know that concentration is very important when creating a piece of artwork.

5. After 12.30, extra 10 minutes shall be provided for last minute error checking and filling in the descriptions.
Yes, a description of the artwork is mandatory, as points shall be awarded for descriptions as well.


12.50 to 1.10
Anime Quiz
- The quiz will be themed upon, you guessed it, the works of Hayao Miyazaki. So make sure you possess a fair amount of knowledge regarding this topic, if you want to win the first place prize!
This quiz will contain 20 questions, and is to completed within 20 minutes. That means 1 mark per minute!

Lunch
- To everyone’s delight, Japanese food (and a drink) will be presented as lunch in the Summer Party.
Which Japanese food you ask?
Well, let’s just keep that a surprise for now! ;)


1.55 to 3.15
Karaoke Party
- Arguably the most fun part of the Summer Party, but once again, I shall be raining on the parade and bore you with the rules and regulations! Hey, don’t complain to me! This is my job!

1. Let me start with bad news.
A projector shall not be provided to the participants, like it was in Mazecon.
So to avoid yourself from forgetting the lines, do remember to bring a hard copy of the lyrics of the song you will be singing.
Don’t worry. MazeCity will still provide you with the music for your songs.

2. The participants are requested to submit the names of the songs they will be performing to the MazeCity admins by 14th of June. Your submission should include:
• Name of the song(s)
• Name of the artist(s)
• Name of the album/ anime/ source from which a specific song is from
• Information on whether you will be singing with someone else; as a duet, in a group or just solo.
3. Remember. This is a Karaoke PARTY, not a CONTEST.
Do not come up to the stage expecting to bag a prize, but of course, don’t let my silly words stop you from performing your very best!


3.15 to 3.45
Prize Giving Ceremony
- After indulging our minds and ears through a relaxing session of serene euphony, we will found ourselves congratulating each other as the best of the best participants are awarded with the best of the best prizes.
Of course, for those who will receive no prizes; do keep in mind that the experience and happiness that you will receive instead are of much more value.
