MAZECON 2011 was surely a grand event. So to slightly relive the awesomeness of the aforementioned grand event, MazeCity has been planning a 'mini' grand event as an appetizer for the next MAZECON, and to everyone's delight: It is finally the time for that! :D Earlier announcements have been made regarding a possible Summer Party around May-June and we have finally decided upon it. In the upcoming June 30 , promises shall be kept as MazeCity will be holding its very own Summer Party! The audience limit will be 40, so only lucky 40 MazeCity fans will get the chance to attend it. The registration will be for those who are willing to participate in the events for the party.P. S. : The theme for the Summer Party is the works of Hayao Miyazaki (creator of Ghibli flims such as My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, for examples).
Now what is going to happen in the Summer Party?
After the MazeArt 2012 competition we are pretty interested in spectating the talent of the amazing Artists that participated there. So we are arranging a Live MazeArt Competition in the Summer Party.
There hasn't been an ANIME QUIZ Contest after MAZECON 2011, so an ANIME QUIZ Contestwill be held in the Summer Party as well. The topic for the quiz will be, as mentioned earlier, the theme of the Summer Party, Hayao Miyazaki.
There will be a Karaoke Party (note : NOT A COMPETITION). We are hoping to have fun in the Karaoke Party, therefore anyone interested in participating will be given priority for registration.
We are renting the whole place for 4 hours and also we'll provide lunch for all the participants.
Some important announcements regarding MazeCity shall be made in the Summer Party too.
The venue will only be revealed to the registered attendees of the Summer Party. After the registration process is completed the registered members will be invited to an event with full details . The price of the ticket for the Summer Party will be
600 BDT (only :P). An online registration method will be provided pretty soon. The online registration will be closed within 31st May and we'll arrange a meeting on 2nd June (Saturday) for the ticket collection from 3-5 p.m. This meeting shall be held at
Captain's World in Mohakhali.

P.S. (again) : About the FMA T-Shirt, we know you guys have been frustrated about it, so were we. Well it looks like the frustration will be over pretty soon. We will be announcing the T-Shirt detail and sample picture in June. Hope to see you guys in the meeting. :D
IMPORTANT UPDATE : It has been decided that the theme of the Live MazeArt Competition will be the theme of the Summer Party itself, the works of Hayao Miyazaki.This means that the fanart the participants shall be drawing in the competition should consist only of characters from any of Hayao Miyazaki's many films. Examples of such films : Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbour Totoro etc.Thus, MazeCity is earnestly requesting the participants to be extremely familiar with the Hayao Miyazaki's movies and their characters. Download Hayao Miyazaki's artbook if you can, and practice as much as you need to in order to give it your best shot in the Live MazeArt Competition.
