Mazecity Musical
Let’s say, you are engrossed in an epic battle between a guy who has a lot of pride Vs a guy who has someone to protect. As in most cases, the latter wins, while the former is baffled with his stubbornness and sudden gain in hidden ability! Just don’t sit at home and keep pressing the replay button! Come to the monthly Mazecity Meetings and share it with us! (:D)
The Meeting held on July, 2nd 2011, was hugely successful. Just when we thought there weren’t any more members, packs of people joins our group and we ended up having a lot fun as a result (the more the merrier right ^_^)! As always, the Meeting was very eventful, consisting of both small and main events.
Members brought a pool of new and ongoing Anime, Movies, J-Pop/Rock collections in their hard drives and exchanged it with other members. New Animes that came out this year have comparatively unique storylines, so there was a heated debate on which ones will be more successful than others. While another group of
members brought their respective artworks or Ongoing Manga arts. It doesn’t matter if you are ‘good’ or ‘bad’ at it, everyone has their own, one of a kind, styles of depiction. In this way, Mazecity has helped many members to discover their distinctive gifts and showcase their talents to other members in the Meetings. I have the gift of using the humble chopsticks (:D) so I brought two pairs to teach other members. Whilst, it is not necessary to bring anything to the meetings, just your presence and experiences are enough. ^_^

Numerous members paid for The long awaited Mazecity official T-Shirt, which I must say, is a piece of art! On the other hand, fan made T-shirts by Devil’s Luck were (two sample pictures on the left) brought as per specific member’s requests. Those were one of a kind as well!
In this way the meeting slowly came to an end and all members became richer (anime collection wise :P) than they were 3 hours ago! After that, we took a stroll down to the ‘Gol Chokkor’ near the Dhanmondi Lake. This was my first time so obviously I was at awe by this splendid ‘Hang out’ Place beside a well renowned Land Mark. There, Nazm Anwar played ‘once upon a time in Mexico’ and other familiar songs with his acoustic guitar as we exchanged jokes and sarcasm (:D)!
Well there you have it! Our very eventful recent Mazecity Meeting…. Hope to see even more new members next time! ^_^
